Rural South Following a number of thefts and an attempted burglary in the Somerby area recently, I was delighted to be invited to attend the Somerby Coffee and Cake morning at the parish hall this morning. It gave me an opportunity to discuss recent incidents and give some reassurance to local residents who were understandably unsettled in such a close-knit community.
Rural Thefts is one of the 3 main beat priorities on the Rural South beat and the beat team will be increasing high visibility patrols in the area in response to concerns from the residents.
